Donna Loos is originally from Wyoming, where she started her college education at Powell Community College in 1958. She then moved her family to Billings in 1960 where she could further her education at Montana State Eastern. She began her teaching career in middle schools, and helped establish the Castle Rock Middle School. She finished her teaching career as an art teacher at Billings West High School in 1991. Donna has always chosen to paint Montana's prairie as well as vast skies rather than the mountainous features of the state. She now currently resides in Missoula Montana where she still works on her art. She has two daughters, Marie DeMarois of Missoula, and Margie Loos of Watsonville California. She also has two grandchildren, Hailey and Ben DeMarois. |
